Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you request a quote or place an order, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the details of the job — quantity, size, patch type, backing, placement and any notes or artwork files you upload. If you tell us how you found us, we record that too.

If you subscribe to our newsletter we collect your email address and nothing else.

Our web server records standard technical information — IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps — as part of normal operation and to protect the site from abuse.

2. Why we collect it

We use your contact details and brief to prepare a quote, produce a mockup, manufacture your order and get it delivered to you. We use your email address to send order updates, and — only if you asked for it — our newsletter.

We keep records of completed orders so that a reorder placed years later matches the original run. That is genuinely useful to customers and it is why we do not delete production records automatically.

3. Artwork you send us

Files you upload are stored so we can produce your patches and support reorders. We treat them as yours. We may show finished work in our portfolio or on social media unless you tell us the order is confidential — say so when you order and we will exclude it.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

We share the minimum necessary with the services that make an order happen: our shipping carriers, our payment processor, and the hosting and email providers that run this website. Each is bound to handle the data only for that purpose.

We will disclose information if we are legally required to, and we will tell you if that happens unless we are prohibited from doing so.

5. Cookies

This site sets a session cookie so that forms work and submissions can be protected against cross-site request forgery. That cookie is essential and cannot be turned off without breaking the site.

If we add analytics or advertising cookies in future, this policy will be updated first and you will be asked for consent before any non-essential cookie is set.

6. How long we keep it

Quote enquiries that do not become orders are kept for two years, then deleted. Order records and the production files attached to them are kept for seven years so that reorders remain possible and so we can meet tax and accounting obligations. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

7. How we protect it

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on access-controlled systems. Only staff who need your information to do their job can reach it. No system is perfect, but we take this seriously and we will tell you promptly if a breach ever affects your data.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Email sales@givenstyle.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops marketing only — we will still send updates about an order you have placed.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under the CCPA.

9. SMS messages

If you tick the SMS consent box on our quote form, we may text you about that enquiry and your order. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out; consent to SMS is never a condition of placing an order.

10. Children

This site is intended for business customers and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes to how we use your information will be notified by email to customers it affects.
